In his role as CEO, Tony Montero implements company-wide initiatives to continuously improve operations and results and drive financial results across all restaurants in the Hai family.
In his former role at Craftworks Restaurant and Brewery – headquartered in Broomfield, CO – Tony led the Gordon Biersch brand as Vice President of Operations. He was promoted to Senior Vice President within a year with leadership over multiple brands, including 13 specialty restaurants and the Rock Bottom and Gordon Biersch Breweries. Prior to that, he spent 18 years with The Cheesecake Factory, opening over 30 new restaurant locations, including outposts in Kansas City, Las Vegas and Houston.
When not lending his skill set to the growth of Hai, you will find Tony enjoying the great outdoors with his family, or dining at his favorite restaurants: Abacus in Dallas, Escalante’s in Houston and —of course — Uchi in Austin.
