Director of Culinary Operations
Steve is from Minnesota and has worked in the hospitality industry for over three decades, helping to open over 200 restaurants. Before joining Hai Hospitality, he worked at Invest Hospitality in New York City as the Senior Vice President of Operations and responsible for leading that group’s expansion in the U.S. and China. Previous to that he was Executive Chef at the MGM Grand Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. When he’s not working, Steve enjoys a variety of hobbies, including music, movies, playing golf, motorsports, and collecting Asian antiques. He loves Gus’s Fried Chicken in Austin, and his favorite restaurant in the world is L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Las Vegas.
