I was born in Boise, ID with 3 siblings, two sisters and a brother. I got my undergrad at Miami University, OH in creative writing. Not a super marketable degree. The opportunity at Uchi is exciting in myriad ways. Over the summer I’ve been lucky enough to spend time with some of the most passionate, skilled people I’ve ever met. I’ve been able to study how culture is crafted and how much buy-in can be fostered with the right approach. I’ve worked alongside cooks and chefs that are world-beaters. I can’t wait to bring this to Denver.
Gimme that pecan pie. Or maybe peach, if we’re talking Texas peaches in the summertime.
