Chris Davies

An executive chef with over 14 years of professional experience, Chris Davies was first inspired by food on childhood shopping trips with his mother in the souks of Egypt. Beginning his culinary career in 2012 as sous chef at the Michelin-starred Acadia restaurant, he has spent the last seven years at some of Chicago’s finest dining establishments. Davies served as the executive chef at the city’s Fifty/50 Restaurant Group’s Homestead on the Roof and Steadfast at the Gray, with each winning numerous awards including Open Table’s “Top 100 Fit for Foodies Restaurants in America” and “10 Best New American Restaurants in Chicago.” Actively involved in all operations, including management, preparation and menu development, his eye for detail and culinary consistency is an asset in his role as sous chef for Uchi Houston.
